A warm, sunlit room welcomes visitors to the Hotel Fauchère. Our guest services check-in guests and escort them to their room, providing an informative overview of the hotel and local activities along the way.
The reception room is also the perfect place to begin a tour of our Hudson River School art collection, which is housed throughout the hotel.
The Hotel Fauchère’s 16 guest rooms offer a stylish approach to history and luxury. Attention to detail abounds, from the original hardwood floors, which have been restored to their original luster wherever possible, to the Carrera marble and Pennsylvania bluestone bathrooms and Nespresso machines. The marble bathrooms have radiant heat, Frette bath linens and MOLTON BROWN hair and skin amenities.
Each of our guest rooms has a queen-sized bed with a firm, 11” mattress, topped with a 2” feather bed for extra comfort. A down comforter and four queen size pillows add a plush dimension to your rest space, and create a sense of layered opulence. The Hotel Fauchère is a non-smoking hotel.
The Hotel Fauchère is a non-smoking hotel. However, Rooms #3 and #4, our two Premium Rooms, each have a large outdoor terrace where smoking is permitted.
Reserved exclusively for our guests, the conservatory is a comfortable area located at the rear of the hotel, overlooking the fountain housed within our private garden.
Originally known as the Summer Dining Room, today the conservatory is a comfortable place for guests to relax, read or enjoy afternoon tea.
Located on the hotel grounds, the enclosed garden enhances your guest experience. Unusual for an in-town hotel, our garden provides an open-air extension to the hotel and serves as a popular venue for weddings and other special events. A fire pit is available for an evening s’mores party or just to keep warm in the chilly months.
Take our virtual tour for a peek into the historic Hotel Fauchère. Travel through each of our rooms, from the Delmonico Dining Room to your home-away-from-home guest room.
