A celebration of our region’s natural and cultural heritage of wood. The festival features crafts made from wood, in addition to workshops and films about wood. Artisans throughout the region exhibit, sell and demonstrate their crafts, bringing samples of furniture, boxes and sculpture. Music and children’s activities occur throughout the day.

Each fall, the Black Bear Film Festival brings to Milford the best in fresh, new independent film. It is one of the most enjoyable weekends of the year, with films running all day in the Film Salon and at the historic Milford Theatre, now renovated and under new management.
